mirror mirror

Yesterday afternoon I covered the frame of this mirror with torn bits of music pages. I know this technique has been done to death and I didn’t consult any book or website first so I expect I’ve missed out some vital step. The original wooden frame was dull and heavy looking and although I gave it a coat of white undercoat early in the summer (remember that day?), I never did get around to glossing it. Soooo, I came up with the decoupage idea. The end result is much better than it was before – believe me. I don’t care if this look is no longer fashionable, it suits me (and the mirror) for the time being. All I have to do now is clean the glass properly!

I like it when people write to me
