Tailor of Gloucester

I found a pattern for this little 6cm high mouse a while ago and when I spotted some large wooden bobbins in a fabric shop I had to buy one for a Tailor of Gloucester à la Beatrix Potter to sit on. He’s been sitting on my workbench for several weeks now, reading his mouse version of the BBC History magazine but he very kindly looked up when I approached with my camera. He really should be getting on with his tailoring but we all deserve a break now and again.

He is very sweet, lots of character.

I like him, maybe you should make a family to keep him company.

I didn’t like how the feet were made on this one so I tried another method which was better but making four feet is all I’ve done so the Tailor will have to wait a bit longer for some company.
